PSNI Annual Meeting in Los Angeles

This year’s PSNI (Professional Systems Network, Inc) Global Meeting took place in a truly exceptional location – seaside Huntington Beach, on the outskirts of Los Angeles. Participants represented more than 30 countries and 220 locations worldwide. Attendees included both Certified Solution Providers (CSPs) – certified audiovisual system integrators – and Preferred Vendor Partners (PVPs), the preferred technology manufacturers and suppliers of The Alliance.

PSNI Global Alliance is the largest AV network in the world, bringing together carefully selected partners who operate under unified, closely monitored quality standards. We work in close cooperation, share knowledge, support cross-border project delivery, and leverage global resources.

As a result, clients can count on a consistent level of service – whether their project is located in New York, Dubai, Tokyo, or Warsaw. Events such as this one in California are crucial for building trust and strengthening cooperation among partners from all corners of the globe.

SLX was represented onsite by Radosław Brzuska (Commercial Manager), Rafał Kociemski (Procurement Coordinator), and Arkadiusz Rogoziński (Project Leader). So how was it? Keep reading!

MAIN THEMES: AI IN AV, NEW SECTORS, AND CHALLENGES

The central theme of this year’s meeting was the application of Artificial Intelligence in the AV industry. AI was present in almost every presentation and discussion. We explored how new tools support system design, tender participation, programming, and solution configuration.

We also saw specific examples of AI applied to remote preventive diagnostics, technical support, and automated monitoring of AV system health-checks.

Other key topics included security, education, corporate broadcasting, and the military sector. We also addressed the challenges facing the ProAV industry as we approach 2026.

There was strong interest in case studies of projects delivered under PSNI’s Member-to-Member model – a clear example of the tangible benefits of operating within such a global network.

PSNI TODAY – IMPRESSIVE NUMBERS

PSNI has been in existence for 39 years. From a small association of 17 companies in the U.S., it has grown into a global organization with more than 120 Certified Solution Providers (CSPs). Today, PSNI operates 287 locations across 66 countries, with over 14,000 employees worldwide.

The organization is present in 24 of the world’s top 25 economies by GDP, 40 of the top 50 markets, 84 of the top 100, and 116 of the top 150. This makes PSNI the largest AV organization in the world – even though it formally operates as a partner network.

One of the most important principles within PSNI is the “48-hour response rule” – a guarantee of consistent client service standards regardless of location.

It is worth noting that cases where clients require support outside of PSNI’s coverage are extremely rare. This further demonstrates how effectively PSNI already operates on a global scale – meeting client needs almost anywhere in the world.

QUALITY AND STANDARIZATION ABOVE ALL

PSNI’s strength lies not only in the number of partners or locations, but in maintaining a uniform level of quality worldwide. Currently, the greatest emphasis is on standardization – not just in design, implementation, and sales, but also in service, after-sales, SLA, support, and system maintenance.

Each CSP undergoes a comprehensive annual review. This covers not only technical expertise, but also financial stability, certifications, and operational capacity. This ensures that clients can rely on consistent service quality no matter where their projects are delivered.

Collaboration with AV manufacturers (PVPs) is another key pillar of the PSNI ecosystem. Thanks to joint purchasing programs – both regional and global – 120 companies benefit from special commercial terms, technical support, extended warranties, and exclusive training opportunities.

STRATEGIC DIRECTIONS:PSNI 2026

The organization’s strategic plan for the coming years focuses on unifying structures under a governance framework. This includes solutions such as unified legal frameworks, shared insurance, centralized warranties, and global service mechanisms. This governance model enables PSNI to function as one organism – with global insurance, contracts, warranties, and service coverage.

For clients, this translates into one clear benefit – access to the same level of services, products, and warranty conditions regardless of market.

Particular attention is also being paid to the development of the Quality Assurance (QA) system, which will introduce new exam and certification pathways to raise competence levels across the entire network.

INSPIRATION AND VISION OF THE FUTURE – OUTSTANDING KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

One of the most inspiring moments of the conference was the keynote by Chris Bertish – South African surfer, adventurer, and motivational speaker. Chris shared the story of his solo 93-day journey across the Atlantic on a modified SUP board.

He covered more than 7,400 kilometers, proving that nothing is impossible when driven by passion, courage, and a desire to help others. After his talk, participants lined up for his autograph in his book describing this incredible journey.

The second keynote speaker was Hart Brown – President of advisory firm Future Point of View and an expert in AI, nuclear energy, and technology security.

In his view, one of the greatest challenges in the coming years will be the availability of energy and natural resources, critical for the growth of AI data centers. Forecasts suggest that in the U.S. alone, over 150 new nuclear power plants will be needed to meet data demand.

Brown also predicted that economies will aim for 10% of the workforce to consist of robots and AI agents. With declining employment and growing automation, economic growth of up to 40% may be possible.

These were talks that will stay with attendees for a long time – further enriched by extended evening discussions over dinner.

EUROPE 2025: THE LARGEST PROJECT PORTFOLIO IN HISTORY

Although the start of the year in Europe was relatively calm, the second half has brought a clear resurgence and exceptional growth momentum. We are now seeing a record portfolio of projects scheduled for the coming months – the largest in the region’s history.

Key observations and trends:

  • Significant investments in the military, education, and corporate broadcast sectors.
  • Intensifying talent challenges – the “war for talent” is ongoing, with AV integrators competing for top specialists against IT and Security firms.
  • Growth of simple products and new players – new entrants from IT are entering the ProAV market, offering basic audiovisual systems.
  • Clients are increasingly recognizing the difference between a quick “out-of-the-box” solution and the long-term value delivered by expertise, experience, and service.

Our discussions strongly emphasized that in AV systems, it is not the product but the partner and their competencies that are the key success factor. Sales and commissioning are only the first step – what really matters is ongoing system maintenance, regular updates, security verification, and readiness for technical support.

On the horizon, global risk factors also emerge – such as currency fluctuations and trade policies – which require flexibility, experience, and well-coordinated international cooperation, exactly what PSNI provides.

NOT JUST PRESTIGE – ABOVE ALL, QUALITY

Participation in the PSNI Annual Meeting is not only about prestige, but also about tangible value: knowledge, relationships, development directions, and confirmation that SLX is part of the world’s largest and most advanced AV network.

This allows our clients to count not only on the highest quality, but also on predictability, consistency, and real global support – wherever they operate.
